While I was walking with my family last Sunday afternoon I met this adorable three-year-old miniature poodle wearing a boot on one paw.
His owner told me that several toes on that paw are fused and the pads are malformed, so the boot protects the foot when he’s out for a walk. The fused toes resemble the Vulcan salute, hence the name Spock.
