Blog a Little, Blog a Lot
with Lee McKenzie and Rachel Goldsworthy

This two-part interactive workshop draws on participants’ experience and real examples. We look at why you might want to blog; what you can put on your blog to achieve your goal; how to get people to your site; whether to blog on your own, with a group, or as a guest on other sites; and more!

Part One covers the basics of blogging, and participants are guided through a series of hands-on exercises designed to help them create a vision for their blog.

In Part Two, participants are guided through the steps of creating a blog and turning their vision into reality.

The workshop includes a dynamic PowerPoint presentation and a clear and concise four-page handout. Parts one and two are each one hour in length. Part one is designed to stand alone, or both parts can be delivered together.

Here’s what workshop participants have said:

"I appreciated seeing my website and blog up on the screen! I am learning more and more about blogging every day. Thanks."
Jodie Esch

"I really enjoyed the presentation. I honestly wasn't considering blogging because I didn't see a value for myself at this time, but this presentation has convinced me otherwise. Thank you."
Marjorie Lindsay

Love the handout! Very clear with good examples.

You two are just so organized! Great handout.
